No, despite the hysteria of pro-abortion groups. The Life Legal Defense Fund recently analyzed state lows and found that only seven states (Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wisconsin) have enforceable laws to bon abortion. The other 43 states, comprising 90 percent of Americans, would still allow abortion, but their citizens would once again be allowed to vote on the issue. "While we wish that the slaughter of unborn babies would end with one ruling from the Supreme Court, we recognize that it will take more than that," said Wendy Wright, CWA's senior polity director.
