Research fro the Beverly LaHaye Institute (BLI) CWA's think tank, indicates that while abortion rates are declining, abortion is increasingly being used by older women rather than teenagers. The new report shows that women over age 25 are having the largest share of abortions, and 60 percent of all abortions are for women who have previously had a live birth. "These data reveal the appalling picture of abortion becoming a means of birth control for older women," said Dr. Janice Crouse, senior fellow for BLI.
